Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy’s CEO the largest Bitcoin Holder, Steps Down After 918.1 m Loss. Saylor Takes A New Post As Executive Chairman

- MicroStrategy is the largest publicly known corporate Bitcoin holder, holding approximately 129,699 Bitcoins at an average of $30,700 per coin.
- MicroStrategy has put more than $4 billion into Bitcoin since first purchasing it in the third quarter of 2020. To do that, it has issued stock, convertible bonds, corporate debt, and debt backed by some of its bitcoin.
- The company’s cryptocurrency holdings are currently valued at $2.9 billion on the market. At the conclusion of the first quarter of 2022, MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin holdings were valued around $5.9 billion. Thus, the CEO of MicroStrategy, the largest Bitcoin holder decided to step down and takes a new post as Executive Chairman.
